Determined by the numeric part of a codename (format ABC-123). CARDINAL = 001–100 (white pulsing glow). SENTINEL = 101–200 (purple glow). AGENT = 201–700 (cyan). AUXIL = 701–999 (near invisible). Affects card border, badge, and glow intensity.
ABILITY RANK
Calculated from core skills and shown as a large watermark letter on the card. E / D / C / B — need at least 2 skills ranked exactly at that level. A / S / X — need at least 3 skills. Always shows the highest qualifying rank. No qualifying rank = no badge shown.
RELATIONSHIP SEARCH
Searching a character's name also surfaces any character who has a relationship edge to or from them — even if they don't match the search text themselves.
CASE INDEX
The CASE IDX on OOC stamps (e.g. NX-5656-Q) is auto-generated from the character's internal ID. It is always the same for the same character — not random.
OUT OF COMMISSION
Setting status to Out of Commission grays out the card (desaturated, all glows killed), adds a rotated stamp with the case index and cause, and dims the entire profile page. The cause field only appears in the form when this status is selected.
FACE CROP (NETWORK)
When uploading a profile image, a crop tool appears letting you select just the character's face. The full image is used on cards and profiles. The face crop is used as the circular node portrait on the Network page.
SEARCH AS FILTER
The search bar matches across name, codename, aliases, species, division, track, bio, abilities, personality traits, and affiliations.
